TESTING
The label makes a claim.
This page holds the proof.
Every number below was measured by an independent laboratory, on finished capsules from our own production. We publish what it found. Including the test we failed.

Every dose on the label. The lab results below.
The principle
A supplement label is a promise printed on paper. Ours promises 45 mg of elemental iron and 100 mg of lactoferrin per two-capsule serving.
Plenty of brands print a badge next to numbers like these. "Third-party tested." Tested for what? By whom? Under which method? The badge never says.
So this page does what a badge cannot. It names the laboratory, names the methods, shows the results, and walks you through reading them yourself. If we expect you to trust our label, you deserve to see what it rests on.
The laboratory and the methods
The testing is run by Eurofins, one of the largest independent laboratory groups in the world. We do not own them and we do not host them. They read what is in the capsule, whether we like the number or not.
The methods matter more than the name on the building. Lactoferrin is quantified under AOAC 2021.10, the reference method for bovine lactoferrin in finished products. Iron is measured under BS EN ISO 17294-2. We name them because results depend on them. Lactoferrin in particular is a fragile protein sitting in a capsule full of minerals: read it with the wrong method and you can get almost any number.
A report that does not name its method is not a report.
The capsules themselves are made in an NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP certified facility. That certification covers the facility, not the numbers on this page. The numbers come from the laboratory.
The test we failed
In July we sent our first finished batch to the lab.
The iron came back above its claim. The label says 45 mg per serving. The laboratory read 49.9.
The lactoferrin did not. The label says 100 mg. The laboratory read 20.88.
LABEL CLAIM
100 mg
LABORATORY READ
20.88 mg
First batch, July 2026. Measured under AOAC 2021.10.
We did not ship a bottle. Orders stayed open, the customers who had already ordered were told the truth, and we spent the following weeks looking for the cause instead of a better-sounding lab.
The cause turned out to be the raw material. The lactoferrin powder had been validated by its supplier under one testing standard, and the finished capsule was being read under a stricter one. Same powder, two rulers. The manufacturer re-sourced the lactoferrin against the stricter method, twice, at their own cost, and a new batch went back to the lab.
The second reading came back on target: 100.8 mg of lactoferrin per serving, with the iron at 53.34 mg, measured on the same capsules.
Most brands would show you the second result and bury the first. We are showing you both, because the first one is the reason you can believe the second.

How to read a lab report
Nobody teaches this, so here it is in thirty seconds.
A laboratory does not measure "milligrams per capsule". It measures concentration: milligrams per 100 grams of capsule content. To get from the report to the label you need one more number, the fill weight of the capsule, and one multiplication.
The two result lines of our first report, as printed by the laboratory.
The same two lines on the current report, the batch that ships.
2,088 mg per 100 g is what the lab read. The fill weight was 0.5 g per capsule.
SO:
20.88 mg per gram × 0.5 g = 10.44 mg per capsule
Two capsules per serving: 20.88 mg
Label: 100. Failed.
Now the current report. 7,200 mg per 100 g is what the lab read. The fill weight is 0.7 g per capsule.
SO:
72 mg per gram × 0.7 g = 50.4 mg per capsule
Two capsules per serving: 100.8 mg
Label: 100. Passed.
That is the whole trick. A concentration, a fill weight, a multiplication. Any brand's report can be checked this way, if they give you one to check.

Why only two ingredients
The formula holds ten actives. The reports quantify two: iron and lactoferrin. That is deliberate, and you deserve the reasoning.
Those two carry the promise, and those two carry the cost. Lactoferrin alone is roughly half the raw-material cost of this bottle. Iron is what the entire formula is built around. If a manufacturer were ever going to cut a corner, that is where the money is. Nobody gets rich shorting the vitamin C.
So we test where the risk lives, and we publish what we test. We have not lab-verified the selenium, and we are not going to pretend we have.
The standing rule
The results on this page always belong to the current batch. When a new batch is produced, it is tested before it ships, and the numbers here are replaced. If a batch ever fails, it does not ship, and you will read about it on this page, the same way you just read about our first one.
And if you are comparing us with another brand, one question settles most of it: ask them for their lab report. It is a short conversation.
